BRAZILIAN WAXING

Brazilian Waxing and Full Body Waxing Services

Waxing leaves the skin smooth and bump free-lasting longer than most hair removal methods. After repeated waxing the hair will start to grow back softer and more sparse. It is recommended to get your Brazilian or bikini wax done every four weeks to ensure the desired smoothness.

How bad does it hurt?
• Depending on your pain tolerance it will hurt some but Amy is known for getting the hair off quick! Discomfort can be reduced by applying a topical analgesic like No Scream Cream (available at Salon Halo) 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment.

Preparing for a wax:
- facial hair- two weeks of growth
- underarms- 8-10 days from your last shave or wax
- legs-three weeks from last shave or wax
- Brazilian or bikini-minimum of two weeks from last shave or wax. Hair needs to be around half an inch.
- exfoliate three consecutive days before your wax
- cut back on caffeine which causes extra sensitivity

After waxing care:
- exfoliate a minimum of three times a week to prevent ingrown hairs and also using a skin solution like Get the Bump Outta Here (available at Salon Halo) to prevent ingrown hair.
- regular appointments should be maintained for best results.

Can you wax if you’re pregnant?  Yes!
- You’re hair will be growing faster and it may be a little harder to reach than in those pre-baby bump days. Not to mention the extra sensitivity but that’s all taken into account during the service!
